J.C. Blair Welcomes New Year's Baby

J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Safe Kids of Huntingdon County presented J.C. Blairís New Yearís Baby Jocelyn Isabella Taylor of Mount Union with a gift certificate for a family portrait and a newborn health and safety package of gifts. Jocelyn arrived at 7:16 p.m. January 3, 2010, to become J.C. Blairís first delivery of the new year. She weighed 7 pounds, 1.1 ounces and measured 18 inches long when delivered by Obstetrician/Gynecologist Dr. Kenneth Lee.

Pictured with Jocelyn are her parents Megan and Adam Taylor, big sister Kailey, 4, and big brother Gavin, 20 months, along with (at left) J.C. Blairís Director of Marketing and Public Relations Chris Gildea and (at right) Safe Kids member Kathy Armillei. Grandparents are Jeremy and Julie Arnold, Mount Union; Rick and Tish Olivieri, Telford; and Rob and Barb Taylor, Doylestown. Great-grandparents are Don and Mary Jean Emerson, Port Royal; and Larry & Deb Arnold, Mapleton.

The health and safety package included a child car seat and a diaper bag filled with plug protectors, cabinet locks, a smoke and fire alarm (from the Huntingdon Kiwanis Club), a baby bath thermometer, window blind cord wind-ups, door knob covers, furniture wall straps, a stuffed animal and baby spoon from The Auxiliary to J.C. Blair, and a variety of other health and safety items, books and brochures.
