The Auxiliary to J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon has announced the second annual Cindy Taylor Nursing Scholarship recipient, Kelsey McCue. She is the daughter of Richard and Julie McCue of Broad Top.
Kelsey will attend Mount Aloysius College in the fall to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. She hopes to eventually become a CRNA.
She graduated from Tussey Mountain High School in June. While at TMHS, Kelsey was a member of the Student Council and National Honor Society. Additionally, Kelsey was a member of the soccer and softball teams.
Kelsey is also active in her community and church. She volunteers her time at the RW&BT Fire Company along with the Broad Top Church of God. She previously served as the RW&BT Fire Queen.
The Cindy Taylor Nursing Scholarship was established in memory of Cindy Taylor by her family and friends in 2010. This year's softball tournament will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012.
