Women Wear Red to Fight Heart Disease

On Friday, February 6, over 60 women involved with J.C. Blair’s Women’s Heart Health Initiative celebrated National Wear Red Day with a heart healthy luncheon at the Huntingdon County Career & Technology Center. Terry Losch from Rapid Transit (pictured in front/center) educated the women about the mechanics of their feet, the importance of weight bearing activity, and choosing the correct footwear. Wear Red Day is a chance for women to arm themselves with knowledge about heart disease.
