J.C. Blair Welcomes New Yearís Baby
J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital and Safe Kids of Huntingdon County presented J.C. Blairís New Yearís Baby Levi David Hunsinger of Three Springs with a newborn health and safety package of gifts. Levi arrived at 1:18 a.m. January 3, 2009, to become J.C. Blairís first delivery of the new year. He weighed 9 pounds, 6 ounces and measured 20 inches long when delivered by Obstetrician/Gynecologist Stephen Graham.
Pictured with Levi and his mother Miranda are his father Travis and big brother Blaine, along with J.C. Blairís Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician Crystal Wyland, maternity nurse Jan Edwards, and Safe Kids and Community Relations Coordinator Stacey Freitag. Grandparents are Patty and Denny Hunsinger and Cindy and Todd Leydig, all of Three Springs, and Ted and Marsha Benson of Orbisonia.
The health and safety package included a child car seat and a diaper bag filled with plug protectors, cabinet locks, a smoke and fire alarm (from the Huntingdon Kiwanis Club), a baby bath thermometer, a gun lock, window blind cord wind-ups, door knob covers, furniture wall straps, a stuffed animal and baby spoon from The Auxiliary to J.C. Blair, and a variety of other health and safety items, books and brochures.
