Randy Jackson Band Returns to J.C. Blair Benefit Event
Back by popular demand, the Randy Jackson Band will be performing at the Auxiliary to J.C. Blair’s 60th Annual Charity Benefit Event on November 20th at the Huntingdon Country Club.
The band offers a wide variety of music, from jazz to the sounds of the Caribbean, from soft tunes to lively rock. In celebration of the 60th event, the band will go back in time and play music from the very first decade of the charity event to today’s music.
Both Randy Jackson and his associate, Bob Scholl, studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Jackson, the lead guitarist, has mastered five instruments and is a vocalist, while Scholl is one of the premier saxophonists in Pennsylvania. The duo is joined by Jeff Kauffman, a percussionist, and two horn players, Jay Arnold and Don Emory.
The band will be performing from 7 – 11 p.m. The Auxiliary invites the community to join them at this 60th anniversary event. Proceeds from this year’s event will go towards the Emergency Department. For more information, go to www.jcblair.org or call Valerie Long at (814)-643-8827.
