Ambulatory Care Unit J.C. Blair’s Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) includes surgery, post anesthesia care and Endoscopy services which include colonoscopy, EGD and manometry studies. Ninety percent of J.C. Blair’s surgeries are same day surgical procedures with patients going home on the same day of the procedure. Nearly a dozen surgeons perform surgical procedures at J.C. Blair with a team of anesthesiologists, nurse anesthetists, OR technicians, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and central processing staff to ensure patients receive the best care before, during, and after surgery.
